Dismissal of $16 million charge

Mr. Pontell successfully argued a Motion for summary judgment on behalf of his clients, thereby securing a dismissal of the entire suit seeking approximately $16 million in damages. Mr. Pontell's clients had been sued under various legal theories, including faithless servant, breach of duty of loyalty, conspiracy, conversion, theft of trade secrets, and improper use of confidential and proprietary information. The plaintiff appealed and in December, 2019, the Appellate Divison affirmed the trial Court's decision in favor of Mr. Pontell's clients.
