Steven Pontell is a principal of Verde, Steinberg & Pontell, LLC and the senior member of the firm’s Litigation Department.

His practice includes business, commercial , corporate and construction litigation, condominium and cooperative housing law, insurance coverage and fraud disputes, professional malpractice, administrative law, estate and probate litigation, liability prevention, negligence and personal injury litigation, and matrimonial and family law. He actively appears in State and Federal Courts, has tried numerous cases to verdict before juries and courts in New Jersey and New York, and has litigated many arbitration matters administered by, among others the AAA (local and international), and AHLA, to conclusion. He also has an active court appointed and private mediation practice. Mr. Pontell advises clients on a wide range of legal issues and serves as General Counsel for a not for profit company whose mission is to find a cure for, and improve the lives of those suffering from a rare form of cancer.
